RE: UNESCO backs Palestinian membership

Dear Sir,
I am very glad to hear that UNESCO backs Palestinian membership, for I very much believe in UNESCO's approach towards building peace in the minds of men and women- and I applaud their core mission "to create the conditions for dialogue among civilizations, cultures and peoples, based upon respect for commonly shared values."
I very much hope that our US Congress quickly changes the totally outdated and counterproductive Zionist influenced laws (and backward thinking policies) prohibiting Washington from funding any U.N.-affiliated body that accepts Palestinian membership.
I believe America should be fully supporting Palestinian freedom and a fully secular two state solution to once and for all end the Israel/Palestine conflict. THUS now more than ever UNESCO's mission is a crucially important mission for all civilized people to support as Palestinians valiantly do all they can to explain their situation and non-violently create a sovereign nation state and a better future for every one- regardless of supposed race, religion or nationality.
Sincerely,
