We grieve for the more than 200 Palestinian journalists, over 300 of our  @UNRWA colleagues, and the tens of thousands of innocent people killed in Gaza since October 2023.

Mothers, fathers, children, and neighbors whose lives were taken while serving others, seeking safety, delivering aid, and in telling the truth the world needs to hear.

With no international journalists allowed into Gaza, it is only Palestinian journalists who have been able to show the world what’s happening — and they are being killed for it. All while twisted narratives are used to justify the unthinkable.

A whole population is being starved and bombed, including our own UNRWA colleagues. Because the very UN agency built to help them is being sidelined. UNRWA needs to be able to do its job. People are dying not because aid doesn’t exist, but because it’s being blocked.

And the world needs to set the record straight. This is not only an attack on lives, but on our shared humanity, and on our right to know. You can kill the messenger, but you can’t kill the truth. The truth will win.

History will remember their courage—and those who tried to silence it. Ceasefire now. Let Gaza live.

100 organizations call for an end to Israel’s weaponization of aid  

Despite claims by Israeli authorities that there is no limit on humanitarian aid entering Gaza, most major international NGOs have been unable to deliver a single truck of lifesaving supplies since 2 March.

Instead of clearing the growing backlog of goods, Israeli authorities have rejected requests from dozens of NGOs to bring in lifesaving goods, citing that these organisations are “not authorized to deliver aid.” In July alone, over 60 requests were denied under this justification.
