Tragedies abound here on planet earth, but at least we can try to make our world a better, more fair, just and secure place for more people.

I grieve for the young Israeli couple murdered in Washington DC this week, and I have been grieving and will continue to grieve for all the many Palestinian men, women, and children being tormented and killed- murdered by Israeli soldiers and settlers.

Scorn violence please, set the right example:  Stop arming and supporting Israel as frankly Israel as it is today drives people crazy with its racist violence and injustice, and its genocidal destruction of Gaza.

Follow the lead of folks wiser and more educated and informed; folks more aware of the crucial importance of diplomacy and the rule of fair and just laws.  Follow the lead of the United Nations- and UNWRA- and The Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

Stealing land is wrong. Destroying people's homes and livelihoods is cruel- and wrong. Starving children is wrong. Blocking vital aid from reaching families in need is wrong.  Racist hate is evil and insane: Please stop fueling and funding racist Israeli crimes against humanity.

Jewish people, Muslim people, Christian People, Buddhist people, Hindu people, Taoist people, Shinto people, Sikh people, Confucius people, Fairy people, Agnostic people, Atheist people, pretty people, ugly people, smart people, dumb people, ALL people need true equality and respect. 

Invest in goodness and the rule of fair and just laws, and invest in help for those in need. Invest in America and invest in peace- NOT ISRAEL.

Dear America,

Hate crimes are escalating here in America with people primed by Zionism to think, say and do horrible things: Two people were shot this week by a Jewish man in Miami, Florida who believed he was killing Palestinians. 

Be honest- hate crimes and violence globally are being exasperated by modern man-made Israel and all who help fund, arm, excuse & protect Israel's racist war on the native non-Jewish Arab population of the Holy Land.

Violence, including extensive ongoing state sponsored terrorism by Israeli soldiers and settlers, only stokes religious extremism and stupidity on every "side".... There should not be sides: There should be the rule of fair and just laws fully respecting every one, regardless of supposed race or religion or whatever.

We have the technology today to track down and arrest people, and we have the systems in place to try them for crimes. So please stop investing in war and weaponry.

AND FYI Religion should be a personal private choice, not a state sponsored project and a scheme to determine citizenship rights and freedoms.

Christian leaders in Israel are up in arms over what they say is a string of relentless attacks on church properties and religious sites — most recently the desecration of a historic Protestant cemetery where vandals toppled stone crosses from graves and bludgeoned them to pieces.

The attack in the Protestant Cemetery of Mount Zion, one of Jerusalem's most important historic graveyards, has struck a particularly sensitive nerve because some of the damaged graves belong to famous figures from the 19th and 20th centuries, a key period in Jerusalem's history. Among them are a German diplomat, the founder of an orphanage who was a significant contributor to modernizing the city, and a relative of the owners of a prominent hotel.

Though members of the clergy say interfaith relations between top religious leaders have never been stronger, and police have been more responsive to such attacks in recent years, they say attacks continue unabated. Some activists say not enough is being done to stop them.

"We are striving so hard to promote dignity and respect among the living. And here we have our dead people ... vandalized," said the Very Rev. Hosam Naoum, caretaker of the Protestant cemetery. "No human would agree with this."

Police arrested four young Israeli settlers from the West Bank last week, two of them minors, in connection with the cemetery attack, said police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld. But Rosenfeld said the four were subsequently released without charge until further questioning.
