Israel kills 22-year-old Palestinian artist Dina Zaurub in airstrike on her displaced tent
Israeli forces have killed Palestinian artist Dina Khaled Zaurub in an airstrike west of Khan Younis in southern Gaza. The strike hit the tent where she and her family had taken shelter near the Sand Beach resort, Quds News Network reported.

In 2015, she won the Al Mezan Center for Human Rights Award for the best drawing on children’s rights in armed conflict. She was later recognized by the Ministry of Education and UNRWA for her work. She specialized in portraiture and used her art to document and honor the martyrs of Gaza.
