People always ask, “Why don’t Arab countries just take in Palestinians?” Because Israel’s Absentee Property Law (1950) steals their land if they leave. If a Palestinian flees war, Israel calls their home “absentee property” and takes it. Ethnic cleansing by law.

People forget Israel has two key laws: the Law of Return (1950) lets any Jew in the world take land in Palestine, but the Absentee Property Law (1950) bans Palestinians from ever returning to their own homes*. Theft made legal.

Here’s the truth: Arab countries don’t permanently absorb Palestinians because Israel’s Absentee Property Law claims their land as abandoned if they leave. Settling them elsewhere would let Israel erase Palestine off the map.

*International Law makes it abundantly clear that every one- every person and every refugee- has an inalienble right to leave and to return to their homes and lands.  That is why Israel wants to undermine and abolish the United Nations and UNWRA.
