Dear Senator- SUPPORT House Resolution 317 - Urging the United States to lead the world back from the brink of nuclear war and halt and reverse the nuclear arms race 2025... and please stop trusting Israel to give US good advice and intel.

Now in Jerusalem- Israeli activists protest the ongoing genocide in Gaza July 2025
Dear Senator McCormick,

I appreciate that you replied to my letter, but I am seriously concerned about your belief that Israel can be trusted to give US good advice and intel.

Race, religion, gender, charm, charisma, language skills, and/or nationality is not a determining factor for who is good and who is evil... Facts are the determining factor, and you are ignoring the facts.

Palestinians are not evil, they are human beings- good, bad, and indifferent like all human beings.

I scorn violence and terrorism, including state sponsored terrorism. For those who bother to look it is obvious that HAMAS and Israel are two peas in a pod in arming religious extremism and crimes against humanity.

Israel wants our money, weaponry and political support as it systemically and intentionally starves, displaces, and destroys the people, the human beings, the men women and children of historic Palestine.  That is truly EVIL!

We need to say NO! No more money and weaponry for Israeli crimes against humanity- including the killing zones of the Israeli/American GHF.

International humanitarian laws were created in response to the horrors of the Nazi Holocaust.  Please don't sabotage and undermine The United Nations and The Universal Declaration of Human Rights... and Palestine.

The rule of fair and just laws and policies are crucial for peace and security, for all our sakes.

There are too many weapons out in the world already, and too much money being made from harming others.

SUPPORT House Resolution 317 - Urging the United States to lead the world back from the brink of nuclear war and halt and reverse the nuclear arms race 2025

Sincerely,

Anne Selden Annab

Dear Mrs. Annab,

Thank you for sharing your thoughts regarding the relationship between the United States and Israel and Israel’s ongoing war with Iranian terrorist proxy groups. Your feedback is essential as we work together to shape policies that benefit Pennsylvania and our country.

On October 7, 2023, Hamas and its collaborators committed the worst massacre of Jews since the Holocaust. Over 1,200 people, including 35 Americans, were slaughtered, and hundreds more were injured. Those terrorists raped, mutilated, burned alive, and kidnapped hundreds of innocent people, targeting Jews and their neighbors. Less than three months after those events, my wife Dina and I toured the destroyed towns in the Gaza envelope, met with hostages’ families, sat down with survivors, and watched terrifying footage of the massacre.

I believe the United States must support Israel to help eliminate Iranian proxy groups like Hamas, bring home the hostages, and ensure such a massacre never happens again. This means ensuring American military aid to Israel proceeds without delays and continuing to increase pressure on Hamas to release the hostages.

As Chairman of the Foreign Relations Subcommittee on the Near East, South Asia, Central Asia, & Counterterrorism, I will be a strong voice for the U.S.-Israel relationship in Congress. I will oppose any resolution or bill that would block critical arms sales to Israel. I will support continued pressure on the Islamic Republic of Iran, including stronger sanctions and enforcement of existing sanctions. I will do everything I can to expand the circle of peace through the Abraham Accords. I have been in regular touch with hostage families, particularly those with Pennsylvania ties, and I have attended vigils for the hostages in my neighborhood of Squirrel Hill.

My support for the State of Israel is not just a matter of nurturing alliances of strategic importance. It’s also a matter of moral clarity. Israel is fighting against forces of evil, and I intend to do my part to ensure it has everything it needs to win.

It is an honor and a privilege to serve our great Commonwealth in the United States Senate. I appreciate having the benefit of your comments on this important matter. I am always grateful to hear from my constituents.

Sincerely,

Dave McCormick
U.S. Senator
