ReplyDeleteWell, seems to me currently the situation, the Israel/Palestine conflict, really already is a one-state "solution" with religious extremists on all sides itching to make it into a religious war.
ReplyDeleteRight now the state building project is what stands in between Palestine being completely erased and merged into sovereign Israel with decades (if not centuries) more of institutionalized bigotry/angry resistance/religious extremism and no guarantee that trapped Palestinian men, women and children will ever gain much more than the right to leave- OR a future where a real Palestine can emerge as a sovereign secular democratic nation-state investing in peace and progress in order to help preserve Palestinian heritage & identity...building a better future for all Palestinians.
