RE: Israeli settlements are more than legitimate, Critics may assail them on other grounds, but no one can deny that they are legal. In fact, the 1922 Mandate for Palestine encourages them. http://www.latimes.com/news/opinion/commentary/la-oe-rozenman11-2009dec11,0,5212003.story

Dear Editor,

Israeli settlements and other such investments in institutionalized bigotry are a huge and obvious obstacle to peace- and shame on all Zionists for choosing to usurp Palestinian land, rights and peace at every opportunity, on both sides of that monstrous Israeli made Apartheid-security wall:

"While the international community is committed to the goal of establishing two states, with Jerusalem as a shared capital, it is difficult to imagine how that outcome can be achieved in light of the systematic settlement activity and violations of basic human rights afflicting the Palestinian community in East Jerusalem. The impact of this urban settlement activity, conducted with seeming impunity, is manifold and acute."
